Step Three:
Attend Intake Interview
Following the documentation review, the next stage of the intake process will occur. Our staff will contact both parents to schedule separate intake orientation appointments. In partnership with the East County Family Justice Center, custodial parent intakes will be held at the East County Family Justice Center and the intake session for visiting parents will be held at FAMNET. An orientation for the custodial parent and child(ren) will be held at a later date at FAMNET.
Please bring the following:
your original signed copy of the registration packet
your picture identification and a photocopy
a money order for $40 for the session
any questions that you have about supervised visitation and monitored exchanges.
The intake interview will last between 45 min - 1hour and the discussion will focus on the following areas: submitted documentation, FAMNET's Standards & Policies, the 2009 California Uniform standards of practice for providers of supervised visitation, a preliminary visitation schedule, the current sliding fee scale and costs relative to services.
During sessions scheduled at FAMNET, we will conduct a tour of the visitation house, discuss safety measures and review staff qualifications.
