Participants will work in groups to complete a sample intake - from client contact - to the initial meeting- to the orientation - to the scheduling the arrival and departure of the family for the visitation(s) or monitored exchanges. Participants will have ample opportunity to ask questions and discuss issues as they relate to Standard 5.20, Provisions E-G, K.
Module III. Records, Documentation, & Additional Provisions

This is the documentation training class that everyone has been waiting for!!
This workshop will focus the following provisions of Standard 5.20: (H) Maintenance and disclosure of records, (i) Confidentiality, (j) Delineation of terms and conditions, (l) Legal responsibilities and obligations of a provider, (m) Additional legal responsibilities of professional and therapeutic providers, and (n) Temporary suspension or termination of supervised visitation, and (o) Additional requirements for professional and therapeutic providers.

The supervised visitation documentation reporting tool was developed, in part, by the Judicial Council of California, Administrative Office of the Courts, Center for Families, Children & the Courts' Access to Visitation Grant Program, and the template was drafted and revised by FAMNET.
Attendees will review Sections H-J, and L-O of Standard 5.20 to understand record keeping and disclosure, confidentiality, and other provisions that are required of professional and therapeutic providers. Each attendee will receive a "mock" case file that they can use as an example for record keeping and file order.
